my organizational STRATEGY
Below is an outline of my organizational strategy and the steps that we will take throughout the organizing and decluttering process.

ASSESS
In this phase, we’ll discuss by phone or email what areas of your space you would like to organize, your challenges, and your goals. I will ask questions about your spaces and home, and together, we’ll determine if Meraki is a good fit for your needs. If and when you’re ready, we’ll schedule an in-home assessment.

Plan
To begin planning, we’ll tour your space and discuss your priorities, goals, needs, and style. During this meeting, I’ll explain what time frame will be needed to complete the project and achieve your goals. With permission, I will take measurements and pictures of the space for more precise planning. You can also submit these prior to our first in-home visit. Our planning is done with 100% confidentiality, support, and kindness. See my confidentiality policy at the bottom of this page.

IMPLEMENT
Here we will implement a new L.E.A.S.E. on life.
- L-Like for Like: Pulling out and sorting all Items based on “like” categories.
- E-Eliminate: Use my decision making matrix to aid in the editing process, discarding or donating any broken, unused, old, or unnecessary objects.
- A-Assign a Home: Determine the best placement for objects in the space. Arranging items in the best areas so the space is user-friendly and efficient.
- S-Shop: We’ll start by using what you have to arrange items temporarily to see if the placement works for you. Then, we’ll assess, and I can help guide you in purchasing containers that fit the space. I’m also happy to shop for you.
- E-Equalize: Making sure that nothing takes more than 5 minutes, per room, to get everything back in it’s space.

We’ll make sure the systems are working for you and determine if any adjustments need to be made. You can purchase upkeep packages, as well, to help keep your progress on track.

When you are ready to get started, we will use my organizational strategy to kick start our progress. I offer a variety of packages to suit all needs and budgets. My rates are based on four hour sessions because I have found this is an optimal time frame to make maximum progress without having to stop in the middle of a task. I am available for longer daily sessions by request.
